Whiskey Winds Caturra
Santuario Coffee
A distinctive Caturra elevated through careful reserve barrel aging. This lot brings together classic Colombian clarity with the deep, resonant character of whiskey-seasoned oak — a coffee that draws from Captain Mancini’s creative side.
Harvested by Gloria Aristizabal at 5,906 ft in the Colombian Andes of Caldas. Grown in mineral-rich andisols formed from ancient volcanic ash, the shrubs draw magnesium, potassium, and iron that contribute to aromatic depth. After processing, the coffee is thoughtfully aged in reserve barrels, then roasted medium-light so the oak stays present without burying the origin.
Cupping notes: grape, cherry, chocolate, and caramel unfold over a smooth, layered body with a subtle whiskey finish.
How to serve: drink it black to hear the oak. It also mixes cleanly with milk — lattes, cappuccinos, and iced caps — and pulls extremely well as espresso.
No alcohol in the cup.
